Where do you get hallowed ore in calamity? ›

Hallowed Ore is a Hardmode ore that generates in Pearlstone Blocks, Hardened Pearlsand Blocks, Pearlsandstone Blocks, and Pink Ice Blocks after all three Mechanical Bosses have been defeated. As such, it predominantly generates in the Underground Hallow biome.

The Hallow biome features 4 new enemies, most of which spawn after Moon Lord is defeated. Two new bosses, the Profaned Guardians and Providence, the Profaned Goddess, must be summoned and fought in this biome or in The Underworld.

Hallowed Bars are bars used to craft mid-Hardmode armor/weapons. They are dropped by all three mechanical bosses: The Twins, The Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime.

The Destroyer

The whole point of Hallowed bars is that they are supposed to be obtained post-Mechanical Bosses, not pre-Mechanical Bosses. Hallowed bars are supposed to be used to craft Hallowed weapons and armor to help you with the rest of the mech bosses and Plantera.

Hallowed Seeds are Hardmode seeds that can be planted in Dirt Blocks to create Hallowed grass and spread Hallow. Hallowed Seeds are purchased from the Dryad for 20 each.

Some items require raw ores themselves, most commonly potions. Raw ores can also be used as plain blocks for construction. The Calamity Mod adds 12 new ores to the game.

It isn't possible to skip the Mechanical Bosses, Plantera and Golem since their deaths directly trigger the next respective phases of the game, so instead gear up and defeat them. At any time, you can fight Duke Fishron and the Pirate Invasion for extra loot.

Skeletron is the only boss not to have any guaranteed drops (with the exception of healing potions, a Treasure Bag if in Expert Mode and a relic if in Master Mode).

By default, calamity changes early hardmode quite drastically. You only start out with cobalt, and must defeat the first two mechanical bosses to get mythril and adamantite. The third and final one you defeat will drop hallowed bars, as well as making hallowed ore spawn in the underground hallow.

The Hallowed Headgear provides the highest overall magic DPS increase of any head slot item. The ranged set provides the highest ammo conservation (alongside Adamantite armor) and second-highest ranged damage bonus (after Titanium armor).

The Underground Hallow is a dangerous Hardmode biome, being one of the biomes that spawns when the Wall of Flesh is defeated. It is the underground version of the surface-level Hallow, and appears in the Cavern layer.

The Hallowed Chest is a blue and gold colored chest found in the Dungeon that the player can unlock after acquiring a Hallowed Key in Hard Mode. It contains a rare and powerful weapon, the Rainbow Gun. Once the Hallowed Chest is unlocked and emptied, it can be picked up after being broken down with a pickaxe.

Hallowed Deserts can only spawn in Hardmode worlds, unless you use the Clentaminatorwith Blue Solution or Holy Water. It replaces sand with Pearlsand, and normal Cacti with teal "hallowed" cacti.

The Sunken Sea is an aquatic biome added by the Calamity Mod which spawns upon world creation. It is located directly underneath the Underground Desert.
