Feet is plural. I have a shoe on my right foot and a shoe on my left foot. My shoes are on my feet. Feet is also a form of measurement. There are 12 inches in a foot. There are over 5,000 feet in a mile.

I will make it to work on foot this morning. (I will walk to work this morning.)
These socks go on feet, not hands.
There really isn't another time that we would naturally say on feet. We might say on MY feet or on YOUR feet.
Hope this helps. 😀
