COLORFUL CROCHET BLANKET

Today’s free pattern is a beautiful and interesting crochet blanket that can be used in any room of the house –the Tonnta Blanket.

The road that led to this colorful crochet blanket was long and winding. Through many experiments, false starts, and a lot of head scratching, I got there!

The Tonnta Colorful Crochet Blanket is the most addictive crochet free pattern I’ve ever designed. The rhythm of pattern repeats won’t let you get bored. In case you are wondering how it would look as a crochet scarf, visit this post!

Using a gradient yarn makes it easy to add pops of color to your home decor. The pattern features a wavy 4 row repeat pattern that brilliantly shows off the color changes.

TONNTA MEANS WAVES

Crocheted blanket patterns are always ten times cozier than store-bought blankets. It’s the perfect gift for family and friends, and will surely be treasured for years to come.

The Tonnta Blanket is all about two things: color and texture.

Though learning how to crochet a blanket with a both wavy and lacy pattern might sound intimidating, this crochet pattern is actually easy to follow and replicate.

This wavy blanket is a unique finishing touch to your living or family room, and adds just the right amount of color and style.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR COLORFUL CROCHET BLANKET

I adore the colorway shown in my two samples. I used KOKONEK Classic for both of them and I absolutely love how gorgeous they turned out!

You can make this colorful crochet blanket in your favorite colors and the texture of the design really makes it stand out from the crowd. This blanket pattern is also perfect for a variegated yarn and has enough features to work with a solid yarn or solid stripes. It is completely up to your creative impulse.

Don’t hesitate to customize the measurements. The Tonnta Blanket pattern is multiple of 40 plus 5 stitches.

Add more chains to make your blanket wider. Remove chains to make your blanket narrower.

Make your colorful crochet blanket shorter by doing less patter repeats, and make it longer by doing more pattern repeats.
